HMS Log Book goes on Retreat!

One of my greatest joys is presenting the HMS Log Book to groups of women, gathered up for events or on retreat. Whether I’m hosting or have been invited to join life coaches & energy healers at their special events, the journal is a wonderful addition to the coveted gift bag. And it’s substantial. And it’s the gift that keeps on giving. With six months of goodness in every bite, er, I mean journal, it’s a lot of bang for your buck.

My staged entrance into Lindsay Simmons & Jessica Reuger’s REtreat in beautiful John’s Island, SC 2018.

But how do I use the Log Book?

Here’s where my presentation comes in super handy. I can talk all day about the benefits and advantages of using the HMS Log Book, but most of the time I am asked to compress the info into an hour. This is a little less comfortable for me, as the Log Book experience has many facets, and most attendees will have plenty of questions. However, it can be done. We do what we must. And there is a healthy introduction section which explains each aspect of the journaling process in great detail. It all works out.

I can tailor the presentation to meet your needs

Since there are so many aspects curled into each page of the HMS Log Book, I’ve got lots of topics to draw from when creating a presentation to fit your theme. Astrology, Health, Holistic, Inspirational…all needs can be addressed with this journal. The Female Empowerment Group I host at one of the local high schools here in Charleston allows for a wide range of topics, and the HMS Log Book helps address them all. At the end of the day, our level of self-awareness is the platform from which we make every decision, speak every word and manifest every dream.

The HMS Log Book is the perfect companion for so many healing and learning functions centered around self-care, and I would love to talk to you about your next event in Charleston and across the globe. I’m rather fond of Mexico, fyi. You can reach me at jen@hmslogbook.com

A few words about the workshops…

High Vibrational Tools for creating a Self-Care practice you will love.

Join the author of the HMS Log Book as she discusses the many facets of self-care involved in this unique journaling experience. We will focus on the Lunar phases included in the log book and how this ties into the Divine Feminine, as well as the power of intention setting and a daily practice of gratitude. We will also discuss and experiment with several types of meditation, including toning & chanting, as vibrational therapy you can do at home. No experience necessary and all are welcome.

Her Majesty’s Ship’s Log Book ~ This smart and beautifully organized journal is engineered to maximize your time and head space to make for efficient journaling. With a “Fill in the box” format, this unique journal invites you to log all the variables that affect the mind, body & spirit as you journey through each day. The HMS Log Book is a powerful tool for helping bring awareness to our cycles, patterns, strengths and opportunities for growth. Each page presents the daily moon phase and an inspirational quote from the world’s most beloved motivational and spiritual teachers, and so much more!

“know thyself”

Eventually, you begin to see your days as the product of your choices plus the exterior elements in play during this snapshot of the journey. Every day decisions versus the physical impact of those choices. When we can see these details and their conclusions on the pages of this journal day after day, our file of personal data dramatically increases. This in turn leads to a higher level of self-awareness which will support healthy decisions along the journey.

And with the compassionate, non-judgmental frame of mind the Captain’s Oath requires, your enhanced self-awareness allows you to logistically measure the quality of your choices against the way you want to feel. The awareness, as always, is the key, and journaling in the HMS Log Book is a fast track to becoming open to this awareness. Welcome to a lighthearted discussion that focuses on practical ways to ignite your Self-Care practice using some fun, fabulous high-vibrational tools & tips.

An Interview with Art Mag

As modern folks, we get pretty caught up in the busy of our lives.

Even our kids are busier than they’ve ever been. Jennifer M. Snyder, a modern woman of many gifts, observes that “self-care goes out the window first,” when life gets crazy. “If the ship goes down, we can’t help anyone,” and thus begins the first of many clever maritime metaphors.

The HMS Log Book is a beautiful specimen of a journal. The cover is velvety feeling, and for those of us who still prefer a perfect-bound book to the cold indifference of a tablet, this is important. This journal presents an easy-to-use forum to efficiently log each day, much in the way that ship captains of yesteryear would catalog the activities of each day at sea and at port, to be intimately acquainted with their ship inside and out.

Use this handsome journal to get to know your own ‘Her Majesty’s Ship.’ The journal is divided in two parts per year, to keep the size manageable—so you can easily tote it far and wide. Purchase 2016 Part One now to get started immediately or Part Two to start journaling on July 1.

“To be fully empowered in all areas of our lives, to create more health, love, harmony, and laughter, the Log Book is a must have tool for transformation. What I adore most, and what makes this journal stand out, is the big picture perspective it is teaching us,” says Elli Richter, a life coach and fitness guru in Charleston.

We are charting our own journey with the HMS Log Book, and this year in particular is very special as your faithful editor prepares for her wedding. Snyder remarks that women (and men!) of all stripes use it for different reasons—one expectant mother plans to document it all and share it with her daughter years down the road. Whatever motivates you to do it, we believe that this tool will help you take a moment each day to focus on yourself and work on that very important relationship— knowing and caring for yourself.
